What is Smilelign?
Smilelign is a clear orthodontic treatment which is a more convenient alternative to traditional metal braces. It consists of a series of clear braces, worn for 2 weeks at a time, that gradually move your teeth in to the desired position. The braces are clear, custom-made and removable allowing you to continue with your life as normal.
How does Smilelign work?
Smilelign technicians in the UK- based lab, carefully plan how much each tooth can move, looking at available space, root positioning and bite. A series of bespoke aligners are then made, each one designed to move your teeth closer to your future smile.
How do I know if Smilelign is right for me?
Smilelign is the only clear braces system that allows you to try before you buy. Pre-aligners give you the opportunity to find out how they feel, how easy they are to remove and how simple it is to keep up with your oral hygiene before you commit to treatment.
How long does treatment take?
Treatment length varies from case to case, depending on the amount of tooth movement and rotation required to achieve your desired smile. This will be indicated at the consultation stage. Typically Smilelign treatment will take between 5 and 12 months. For most effective results you should wear your aligners for 22 hours a day, only removing them to eat, drink and brush your teeth.
How often do I change my aligners?
Expect to change aligners every 2 weeks. You will have routine progress appointments with your dentist in the surgery as well as access to a portal link where you can track the movement of your teeth and receive notifications to change your aligners.
How much does Smilelign cost?
The cost depends on the number of sets of aligners required to achieve your desired smile. This will be established at the planning stage and detailed in your digital treatment plan. Typically, treatment costs between £750 and £3,000.
We offer a finance plan with 0% interest to spread the cost of your Smilelign investment.
