Should you have a dental emergency during our opening hours, please contact us on 01978 364390. We endeavour to see our patients who have a dental emergency as soon as possible. If your dental emergency is outside of our opening hours, you can contact the NHS Direct Helpline on 111.
We provide a chargeable out-of-hours dental emergency service for private patients on 01244 355240

How to find us
Ruabon Road Dental Practice
96 Ruabon Rd, Wrexham, LL13 7PH
Car parking: The car park (marked with a P on the map) is next to the Premier Store opposite Victoria School is free. Is it 470 yards from the practice which is a four minute walk.
Bus routes: We are on bus routes 5, 2 with stops within yards of the practice.
Bikes: The practice has spaces for bikes to be parked at the back of the practice if using the disabled entrance.
Disabled Access: Disabled and wheelchair access is at the rear of the building off Victoria Street. Please request a downstairs surgery when booking your appointment.
Missed appointments
If you are unable to keep your dental appointments, please contact us as soon as possible, giving us at least 24 hours notice.
NHS
Practice policy states that should you either cancel with less than 24 hours notice, are late for your appointment or fail to attend on more that 2 occasions we would no longer be able to treat you as a NHS patient. Patients that repeatedly fail to attend or short-notice cancel will not be added to the NHS wait list.
Private
If you fail to attend, arrive late or cancel with less than 24 hours notice for your private appointment, you will be charged 50% of your treatment cost. For video consultations, new patient assessments, examinations, whitening and hygiene appointments you will be charged the full treatment cost. It will also be at the discretion of your dentist whether it is your best interest to continue your dental care at Ruabon Road Dental Practice.
Practice Plan
Failure to attend video consultations, dental examinations or hygiene appointments by Practice Plan members will not be re-scheduled free of charge. You may forgo the appointment or book a new one at the standard private fee. If your missed appointment is for an open course of treatment then you will be charged 50% of the treatment cost (without applying the 20% plan discount). It will also be at the discretion of your dentist whether it is your best interest to continue your dental care as a Practice Plan patient at Ruabon Road Dental Practice.
Lapsed patients
Patients that have not visited our practice for treatment or a routine exam with their NHS dentist for more than two years will be considered as lapsed patients, meaning they no longer have access to NHS dental care at Ruabon Road Dental Practice.
Zero Tolerance Policy
Our Practice is committed to providing a safe working environment by minimalising the risk of violent, abusive and aggressive behaviour in the workplace. Patients displaying any anti-social behaviour either in person or by phone will not be welcome at Ruabon Road Dental Practice.
Complaints Procedure
We aim to make your experience at the practice as pleasurable as possible however should you have any complaints please contact the surgery and ask for the practice manager, who will be able to deal with your complaint.
You can download our complaints procedure from the website. If you have already made a complaint and are not satisfied with our response you may contact Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board if your complaint is regarding NHS treatment (further information can be found on the NHS ‘Putting Things Right’ leaflet) or Healthcare Inspectorate Wales if your complaint is regarding private treatment.
