Pre-season Dental Assessments at Wrexham AFC

We returned to Stok Cae Ras for the 2025/26 pre-season dental assessment of Wrexham AFC players as part of their health screening programme. Dr Anwen Hooson who has a special interest in sport dentistry examined the players assisted by dental nurse Emily whilst Dr Sam Johnson used one of our iTero scanners to higlight areas that require further investigation. Excellent oral health contributes to achieving peak performance levels in elite athletes. Poor oral hygiene increases the risk of conditions such as heart disease, respiratory conditions and diabetes. Tooth loss and poorly positioned teeth can affect overall posture which can compromise strength, power and balance. By assessing the players now we can ensure they will be dentally fit and ready to start their next exciting chapter in The Championship. Watch the full video here
